4 Smart Diet Tips from a Harvard Expert for a Longer Life

As we step into 2024, you might be thinking about a new diet. But according to Dr. Frank B. Hu from Harvard’s School of Public Health, some easy changes to how you eat could really help you live longer.

Here’s what he suggests for a longer life:

Pick Whole Foods:

Dr. Hu recommends eating natural and minimally processed foods like fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, and beans.

He’s a fan of diets like the Mediterranean or plant-based ones that are known for reducing the risk of diseases.

Cut Down on Processed Foods:

Since so much of our diet is ultra-processed, like sugary drinks and snacks, eating less of these is key. 

Too much of these foods is linked to a 31% higher risk of dying sooner.
